Service kit for cars with the original non-draining sump.
Kit comprising:
- Reusable oil extractor/plunger pump with built in container
- Standard paper cartridge oil filter
- Air filter
- Spark plugs set of 6 (NGK)
- 5ltrs Shell Helix HX8 5-40w Fully synthetic MB229.5 (Mercedes Benz Approved) engine oil.
- Plus a free funnel to make life that little bit easier.
- We also include instructions on how to remove the service light.
The Smart roadster engine only needs just under 3ltrs, so you will even have oil left over for future top ups.

A cheap and easy way to change your oil at home via the dip stick tube.
This kit is for ALL models of Smart roadster and roadster coupe with the 698cc petrol engine including Brabus.
Oil Extractor & Service Brieft Instructions..
With the engine warm, simply place the hose into the dipstick tube to the bottom of the sump, and push/pull/pump the plunger handle. The oil will then be sucked out of the sump and into the container. When the oil sump is empty, unscrew the black oil filter canister at the bottom left rear corner of the engine, replace the oil filter cartridge, screw the canister back on, then replace the oil (approx 2.5 - 3 litres max)! Simple!
